Hollywood's Bookshelf

I am pleased to inform you that my newest endeavor ( a book titled;'Franks and Beans' ) is now in the process of being published. This book is a collection of poems, short stories, and tongue twisters for children of all ages. The stories are the product of my imagination and raising two boys of my own. I used to tell these stories to them before they went to bed at night. The poems in the book are light-hearted and fun little rhymes that will delight your children with every reading. I will post more info as it becomes available.

I have done one television interview so far. It was on CBS affiliate WYMT-TV channel 57 back in May of 2007.

BOOK SIGNINGS

So far, I have done a couple of book signings. The most noted one at the 'Big K' super Kmart store in Hazard Ky.

HONORS

I was awarded the March 2007 'Editor's Choice Award' for outstanding accomplishments in poetry by the International Library Of Poetry.

I am also listed in the 'International Who's Who In Poetry' for 2008.

I was nominated for the 2007 'POET OF THE YEAR'

I was awarded an 'Editor's Choice Award' again in 2008.

I was nominated again in 2008 for 'POET OF THE YEAR'.

POETRY READING

I am scheduled to do a poetry reading at the Perry County Public Library in Hazard Kentucky on August 27th, 2009. The time is not yet set though due to the library moving to it's new facility.
